The hat is a pill box style designed to cover about half of the ears.  The yarn is medium bulky weight Corriedale wool.  The top of the hat and the scarf is undyed Shetland wool plied with bits of colored yarn.  The scarf is loose knit and stretchy.  It's about 4 1/2 feet long and 3 1/2 inches long.
